Description of the

Antistick ECO 170 is the special version of our plant-based release agent range for demanding applications. The formulation is specifically adjusted so that it adheres longer to metallic surfaces than the standard ECO 150 variant - an advantage wherever the mix is highly viscous, transport distances are longer or the release agent has to withstand several loading or rolling cycles.

ECO 170 follows the same material principle as the other Antistick ECO products: 100 % plant-based active ingredient based on rapeseed oil derivatives, no CLP labelling, no hazardous goods according to ADR, high flash point and biodegradability. ECO 170 is the right choice for companies that process polymer-modified bitumen (PmB) or want to reduce their release agent routine to a few spraying intervals that are as long as possible - without having to resort to conventional chemicals.

Available in: 200 litre drum, 1,000 litre IBC containers

Advantages

Your advantages at a glance:

  • Long service life on metallic surfaces - less re-spraying
  • Especially for highly viscous mixtures and PmB applications
  • 100 % plant-based active ingredient base (rapeseed oil derivatives)
  • CLP-free, ADR-free, flash point > 150 °C
  • Low VOC - no odour pollution at the workplace
  • Biodegradable
  • Economical because fewer spraying processes with the same protection against adhesion

Application

Antistick ECO 170 is the first choice in the following constellations:

  • Transport skips for long journeys
  • Rollers, screeds and tools for polymer-modified bitumen (PmB)
  • Applications with multiple loads without intermediate spraying
  • Machines with long downtimes between spraying and installation processes

Frequently asked questions FAQ

When is ECO 170 the better choice than ECO 150?
ECO 170 is always useful if you need to leave longer between spraying operations - for example, for transport skips with long journeys, for polymer-modified bitumen (PmB) or for machines that are at a standstill for longer after spraying. ECO 150 is completely sufficient for universal standard applications with frequent re-spraying.
ECO 170 is specifically formulated for highly viscous and polymer-modified bitumen grades and is compatible with standard mixes. For very special mixtures, we recommend a practical test before large-scale production, which we accompany with free test samples.
The application requirement per spraying process is slightly higher because the coating should be thicker and more durable. Overall, the consumption is often lower than with ECO 150 because it needs to be re-sprayed less frequently. The overall balance is therefore often more favourable - the exact cost-effectiveness depends on the application and system.
