Antistick140_IBC_nl

Description of the

Antistick 140 is our conventional hydrocarbon-based asphalt release agent. It is the solution for users who - for whatever reason - want or need to retain a hydrocarbon-based formulation. Typical constellations are fixed supplier or processing specifications, very specialised mixes or transition phases during a gradual substitution towards bio-based products.

Antistick 140 is an established release agent with a long proven track record. Compared to our Antistick ECO range, however, it has the typical properties of hydrocarbon-based products - including CLP labelling, ADR hazardous goods status and VOC content. We continue to supply it because not every user can or wants to switch to bio-based today - and provide transparent documentation so that the decision for or against substitution can be made based on facts.

Available in: 200 L drum 1,000 litre IBC containers

Frequently asked questions FAQ

Why do you continue to supply a hydrocarbon-based release agent?
Because not every user can or wants to switch to bio-based today. There are contractual requirements, very specialised mixed goods and transitional phases in which a conventional formulation remains sensible. We offer both options transparently and advise - without pressure - on the substitution potential in your specific application.
Antistick 140 is subject to labelling according to CLP and dangerous goods according to ADR. In concrete terms, this means: storage of hazardous substances with the corresponding requirements, risk assessment and substitution testing in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation, ADR-compliant transport and appropriate instruction of personnel. The details can be found in the safety data sheet.
Yes, at any time. We recommend a clean changeover: use up the old residues, rinse the system thoroughly, then switch to the ECO product. A pilot test is worthwhile before switching - we provide a free test sample and provide technical support during the transition.

Check substitution potential?

Even if you are currently using Antistick 140: We will work with you to analyse whether it would make sense to switch to a bio-based variant in your application - without any sales pressure.
