Release agent

Release agent based on rapeseed oil for rollers, screeds, skips and tools in asphalt construction. Full release effect against hot mixes - without hazardous substance symbols, without ADR hazardous goods, without solvent odour.

Release agents form a thin film between the asphalt mix and the contact surfaces of pavers, rollers, lorry bodies and hand tools. They prevent the hot material from sticking and ensure clean surfaces, even material flow and less cleaning work.
Traditionally, hydrocarbon-based release agents (based on diesel, heating oil or mineral oil derivatives) have been used in road construction. However, these are harmful to health and the environment and are increasingly subject to regulatory restrictions.
With the Antistick ECO line, Green4Clean is focusing on a new generation: 100 % bio-based release agents based on rapeseed oil that equal or exceed conventional products in terms of performance - with a significantly better safety and environmental profile.

Frequently asked questions - FAQ

What is the difference between Antistick ECO 150 and ECO 150 LV?
Both have the same vegetable formulation based on rapeseed oil. Antistick ECO 150 LV has a low viscosity and is therefore optimised for automatic spraying systems with fine nozzles. ECO 150 is the slightly thicker standard version with longer adhesion on vertical surfaces - preferably applied manually and on troughs, planks and tools.
Yes, with all common bitumen types. For polymer-modified bitumen (PmB) or unusual special mixtures, we recommend carrying out a practical test with Antistick ECO 170 before the first large-scale production run - this variant is specially formulated for highly viscous mixtures and particularly long service life on the surface.
Consumption depends heavily on the spraying technique, substrate and weather conditions. Experience values for roller drums are around 5-15 ml per square metre per spraying process, depending on the system and mix. We can help you with a realistic estimate for your specific system - based on the spray pattern, nozzle equipment and mix profile.
