Is a liquid oil binding agent comparable to classic granules?
In the initial action - binding oil spillages so that they cannot slip and making the surface quickly passable again - yes. In the subsequent step, a liquid binding agent works differently: not as a solid to be disposed of, but as a biological degradation activator. Which approach makes more sense in individual cases depends on the amount of soiling, the substrate and local regulations. We will be happy to advise you on your choice.
Our products are biodegradable and utilise natural ingredients. However, their use on bodies of water is always subject to the respective official authorisation situation and is not permitted across the board. For specific projects - for example in harbour areas - we will be happy to discuss suitability with you and the relevant authority.
In the simplest case, with a standard spray unit, a watering can or a pump spray bottle. For larger areas, standard application devices can also be used, such as those commonly used by road maintenance companies for gritting agents or pre-treatments.
